Actually it's not stupid to claim there is no god.
You appear to want to convince me that there is one.
The onus on you therefore, is to provide suitable and sufficient evidence to convince me.
There is no onus on me to prove otherwise.
Just as I can accept the possibility that the universe might have appeared spontaneously from nothing, I can accept the possibility that there is a god.
I see no reason why god cannot exist, I just happen to believe otherwise.
I have seen no evidence to support your position.
All religious writings appear to attempts at mass manipulation. Attempts to control large numbers of people, through fear of the unknown and unknowable.
In my view, if god existed it would be apparent to everybody, everywhere, all the time.
Priests and their ilk would not be required to interpret anything.
Not that any of this will convince you.
