I hope that humans become so advanced that at some point leave earth so that new species can develop there. Earth would be a heaven of life without humans mass killing species and destroying environment. Such a point could be reached in several hundred thousand years.

The end of Sun lifecycle doesn't pose a threat to humans, since even if we assume fast space travel is impossible, they would make it to some nearest star in a couple of hundren years in a huge startship that doesn't need sun at all. There they would refuel and travel elsewhere.
