Nah. It happens every 4 years regardless. It is just more in the open this year b/c of it being a tight race.
I loved the fact that Democrats and the ACLU wants to sit at polling places and harass voters by asking them who they voted for and whether or not they signed off on the Democrat Allegiance page. Stalin would be proud of the Democrats these days.
Since when did you have to swear an Oath to the Democratic Party in order to vote or be called a Democrat? That is down right scary. The ACLU wants to prosecute people they find who switched over, LEGALLY, mind you, and signed off on an affidavit swearing allegiance to the Democratic Party.
People switch parties every election cycle, you cant stop them from doing it legally. Everything Rush has said during Operation Chaos is legal. I dont care if it is Dems turning into Reps or Reps turning Dems. Maybe the parties shouldnt allow anybody to vote in their primaries except registered party members. That would solve the problem right there. But instead, they allow independents, and other party members to vote, so it is their own fault.
