As far as I know, it isn't so difficult to immigrate legally to Canada - I think it is easier than to immigrate to US or Australia. You just need a spouse, both have university education and I think at least 2 years of experience - that is quite easy to meet I would say. Theoretically you could also be single, but then would need to get necessary points in some other area.
