Do a little reading up on McCain's military record. It'll surprise you.
I find it highly ironic that the right wing "Swift-boated" Kerry's military record, which was actually quite honorable, with a barrage of lies - yet they have given McCain a free pass. McCain was in combat only for a total of 20 hours, and as a POW, "Songbird" McCain (the Viet Cong's nickname for him) seriously breached the Military Code of Conduct many times.
