As for the emancipation proclamation, Lincoln never would have freed the slaves if they weren't needed to fight. Pure truth. Was he an evil man? Probably not, but his job was to preserve the nation and ensure that it wasn't destroyed by outside factors because the nation was weakened by the Civil War.
did you look at what lincon said to green??? he needed those slaves to be pawns to make sure it was more of them who died and not the whites, he freed them so that they could die for his cause not for freedom!! Was he evil yes he was he had no intent of freeing the slaves but yet history or the way it is taught in schools is that lincon is the great hero with a huge heart who saved the slaves

It has really never been the job of the federal government to take care of all of the needs of it's individual citizens or even factions. If they did, how would that be any different than being owned?

taking care of someone is not having them as a slave, look at the history of spain under islamic government for over 900 years one of the pactices in this type of government is for the rich to take care of the poor till they get in a position to rich and repeat the cycle but the rich do not own the poor.

Whites are not what is holding the black community of today back in this country. It is the lack of an education, that a great majority of the black community does not strive to achieve.
No i never said that whites are, however the system that was and is still set in place by the slave masters are, the lack of eucation is the same as not teaching a slave how to read, blacks that have been born poor have no choice but to seek a good education but that cost money money that the government is not interested in giving to freely.were as in the white communities alot of their forefathers profited form slavery and schooling back then which provided them with money and an education to succeed for their generations to come, the black forfathers however were slaves never got a chance to go to school and were left with nothing but to teach their generation how to serve the white mans system better. Yes education is there now for blacks but it is very poor what the teachers have to use is shit, now only very few slip through and become successful thats why so many scholarships for college are readily available because this system knows that no way in hell is a whole bunch of blacks going to succeed only a hand ful will.

Do you really think that an uneducated white person will be employed before an educated black one?
yes if his parents have good friends then yes and it happens now.

Now, I'm not trying to bash you either, but can you admit that blacks are holding themselves back, in this country at least, by depriving themselves of chances because they would rather complain about slavery?
no blacks are not holding themselves back by "complaining about slavery" we are striving to get educated but the effects of slavery is allways rising up so as we are becoming educated we must also speak out against a system that was desgined to hold us down and make sure that it never comes back that it dies. To those trapped in the system they can do nothing but complain now their complaining about the whit man holding them back is bullshit they need to fight hard to get an education with this yes you are right.
