The damage that would be done to the DNC if Hillary was indeed selected as a nominee at the convention due to the superdelegates would be humongous. I mean seriously, I know how the democratic primary system works rather in detail and the thought behind it - but try explaining it to something around 50 million people who voted in democratic primaries that their votes are worthless! Why the hell does the DNC ask the population what they want if in the end it doesn't matter anyways? The system has its merrits, it would be legal if Hillary walked away with the nomination, but just try explaining that to the people. "Disenfranchising" Florida and Michigan will seem like a walk in the park compared to disenfranchising some 55% of democratic voters countrywide.

Hillary was set to win the nomination from the start. The people said no, we want Obama (there's no way Hillary can surpass Obama in delegates, and its very unlikely she'll surpass him in the popular vote) and the party says "hell no, we're taking Hillary". WTF? No way that's happening, the party can't be that dumb. Obama will likely loose in November as it seems, but there's no way Hillary is getting this nomination.
