O.K. No one seems to have a problem with racial pride, unless of course you're white today, then your racial pride is racism AGAINST the other races. You remarked earlier that the atrocities against blacks isn't taught in schools. Why should it be? Guess what, the atrocities done to the slavic people in their homeland, 400 years before black slavery, (ergo, the word SLAVE), isn't taught either. The atrocities that America perpetuated against the Irish, and the Chinese isn't taught either. Somehow I get the feeling that you don't care about them or what
they suffered, but expect their descendants to care about your ancestor's suffering. You want America today to apologize for what America of the past did.
This may be a stretch, but get the point anyway. Are you responsible for the actions of black gangbangers against non minority Americans which is making history today? Is it going to be all right that the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of black bangers today pay for the next several generations for their atrocities? The government turns a blind eye to this plague on society just as it did to slavery back when. Assuming that those descendants don't follow the same path, are they to be held responsible? After all, they will be the same race as those bangers are today.
And actually I believe that at least one of the southern states HAS issued an apology. It was obviously as appreciated and accepted as affirmative action was. What you are asking for is preferential treatment, not equal.
The condition of black society two hundred years ago was the result of European society. The condition of black society today is NOT. Until blacks accept this and do what every other nationality and race who was oppressed by this country does, namely put their efforts into being part of the
total of American society and opportunities, and not defy white society as the attempt to honor your own heritage, then you will not like the outcome. When someone who is white says this to you, you immediately dismiss it as racist, and I think you look for it. Please stop.
