Good question: I'm not an atheist as I believe there is
something out there. I just whole-heartedly reject what I perceive are the man-made religions we currently have. I think there are good teachings that can be had from all religions, but I do not accept them as holy or as the words of god(s). What frustrates me is when monotheistic religions pray for non-believers to understand the “truth”. They know the truth no more than I do, and it’s absolutely false and arrogant for them to say otherwise.
