When is this obsessiveness going to stop for goodness sakes.

Look, like it or not and according to the Gospels (the Gospels repeatedly refer to “the Jews,” “the Pharisees,” “the Sadducees), Jesus was crucified over the Easter period. Those supposedly accountable, if of course you believe that the gospels and its accompanying religious text is the 'real' thing, then the Jewish people at the time did not believe Jesus was the Saviour.

I can see no reason why the Catholic Church should wipe this section of biblical text to pander to anyone.

Why should it be censored, wiped from history. I see no reason why Christians if they so wish, should not pray for the enlightenment of the Jewish people to recognize Jesus during the Easter Festival, after all each and every organized religion wants to recruit do they not?

Or do we prevent free speech just because those of another faith take umbrage? I see no-one taking umbrage on behalf of muslims who feel the cartoons denigrating their version of ' God' is an outrage.

Those who practice Judaism do not believe Jesus existed, do we see Christians up in arms, protesting, wanting parts of the Hebrew bible removed?

I personally think it is time a proportion of Jewish people stopped using the Holocaust as an ongoing tool to prevent anyone and I mean anyone from using free speech, just because they are so overly sensitive to any form of critisism.

It is also, in my opinion, about time that people stopped treading on eggshells to accommodate such people, in my opinion they are equally dangerous.

The argument is, that the Jewish people have been marginalized and alienated in the past and must now ensure this does not happen again.

That is understandable, but not to such an extent that they become exactly what they fight against.
