Country:
2008 Presidential Candidates: Don't know yet for certain, but its between the two Dems. If a Republican wins again, I might have to leave the country

Party: Independent

Abortion: Pro-Choice, though I abhor it.

Affirmative Action: AA on the basis of economic status; a poor white man and a poor black man share the roughly the same disadvantages.

Alternative Fuels: End Oil Now.

Capital Punishment: Against, and we need prison reform in a broader sense.

Censorship: Against, except in the extremest of circumstances.

Cuba: End the embargo, its useless except at making millions suffer

Current Administration (Bush/Cheney): One of the worst in American history

Current Congress: Pretty shitty. Democrats are often very weak.

Education: THE issue. Repeal NCLB (my mom is a teacher, and I've been in the education system before and during it, so I've felt its effects very directly). Increase funding/lower secondary education costs. Encourage trade schools and technical schools more; not everyone belongs at university!!

Electoral College: Mixed; as a Gore supporter I still have a bitter taste, but the elitist in me wants it around just in case

Flag Burning: Stupid, but allowed.

Foreign Policy: Diplomacy>Sanctions and embargos>war

Free Trade: Don't know enough about this to comment. I've heard some of our neighbours get the shaft from NAFTA; if this is true, we should definitely look into fixing things up (this might help immigrations, too!)

Gay Rights: Don't care. With the divorce rate at over 50%, marriage is hardly sacred, so that defense is asinine.

Global Warming: One of the bigger issues, especially since its effects extend well beyond those of any other issue.

Globalization: Leaning against. When China and other abhorrent nations are empowered by American companies while blue-collar workers across the states suffer, something seems a little wrong.

Gun Control: Surprisingly, I'm increasingly strongly for it. It's the last resort we have for defending against an oppressive government.

Healthcare: Definitely needs to be fixed, but I'm not exactly sure how.

Illegal Immigration: Kill the problem at its source. Go after employers, and see what we can do to help Mexico out (if anything). At the same time, a visa program for workers should be implemented.

Marijuana Legalization: No reason it shouldn't be, considering cigarettes and alcohol are more dangerous.

Media Bias: Increasingly irrelevant with the advent of the internet. It is difficult to sift through the crap, though.

School Prayer: No. No. No. If people want to pray on their own time, I don't care, but not on my time.

Separation of Church and State: Government + Religion = VERY bad.

Social Security: This one is really tricky...

Stem Cell Research: Fully support.

The Constitution: Wonderful document, but not infallible. Strong caution should be exercised with any proposed amendments/interpretations, however.

United Nations: Weak, but I support it.

War in Iraq: We have a duty to try to help the people of Iraq any way we can. How this will be, I really don't know for certain, but withdrawing immediately is morally irresponsible, all things considered. That said, we should at least ensure no further escalation occurs, bar some sort of catastrophe.

Welfare: Needs to be reformed to make exploitation more difficult, but not necessarily abolished.

Wiretapping: Anyone who wiretaps without a warrant should be hanged.
