your Constitutional quote doesn't say "welfare of the people", it says "welfare of the United States" since you want to pick nits and then create an argument out of it
Hmm, well let's see. Does marijuana benefit the welfare of the collective United States? In any context? No. There is no context in which marijuana actually benefits the United States--as a society, as a populace, or as a nation. Does marijuana present a definitive risk to the United States? Does it have any harmful effects socially on a wide scale? Yes. In several contexts, as shown above. People experiencing any number of the side effects listed above (such as paranoia, hallucinations, impaired cognitive abilities, psychosis, psychomotor retardation (commonly seen in individuals with bi-polar disorder), impaired judgment, etc. simply from a drug used for nothing more than "personal pleasure" or "relaxation" or some other bullshit "reason are a risk to those around them. Once they stupidly ingest chemicals that they are fully aware can cause side effects such as the afore mentioned--side effects that are potentially dangerous to those around them (nonusers), it's no longer a matter of their safety, it's a matter of preserving the safety, security, and right of the people around them to live without fear of having mentally unstable drugged up basket-cases running around. No one needs to smoke weed. No one has the right to smoke weed. Everyone has the right to live in peace. That's the point here, and it's one you don't seem to be understanding.

This is a complete misrepresentation of my post, that was obviously not my reasoning. I would never even have been able to suggest such sick ideas, as it is not within my character to do so--those words are yours and yours alone. My reasoning was very clearly spelled out; your total misrepresentation of my post accomplished nothing productive. Consider yourself warned so as not to utilize such brutish and underhanded "tactics" in the future. We do not take kindly them here here.
