Is the problems in the larger extent in Africa due to a ill timed, ill conceived decolonization policy by the Western/European powers after WWII? would Africa have been better served to have remained as some kind of "Economic protectorate" for a longer time to ease the transition to self rule? as well as being able to maximize their natural resources?
