Alright let's break this equation down.

E = Δtc2

--------

E = Energy

Δ = Delta (change)

t = time

c = the speed of light

and we all know what square means

---------

Energy equals change in time when at the speed of light squared

So you can draw energy form space-time at the speed of light squared. Good theoretically, but the speed of light squared is so fast that energy and matter become one and the same. Too fast for the human race to ever achieve, (not to mention impossible due to Einstein's E=MC^2)
