If they go after race as an issue, they'll lose any vote I might ever have considered for the Republican, I can tell you that. I think a lot of people would be disgusted and put off by something that incredibly sleazy. At least I hope so. Dunno, people can be mighty crass. But I think that would be a very bad idea.
I just want to see whoever is nominated on either side have very clear cut issues, clear plans they want to put into effect, be very clear on how they'd handle foreign policy, and I want a discussion about that, a good, sometimes vitriolic discussion (I think sometimes it's good to see candidates under pressure or how they act when they get mad), and I'd like to make a choice this year on something other than a bunch of flimsy promises and marketing tools (like the word "change", which is starting to bug the crap out of me, to be honest).
May be too much to ask for, eh?

But Obama, I realy want some hard and pat answers and for him to be really put to the test before I'll just give in and say "Ohh, hope! Hope, change, prosperity, everything's gonna be all right!", which is what seems to be happening to some foks.
