Yeah because countries like Iran that run on 2% the GDP of the United States can totally take over the world.
The sooner everyone realizes that the Islamic fundamentalists are not a major threat the better off we'll be. The best they can do is kill a couple thousand people a year (If you let them). The only way they can bring down a nation, is if they scare the nation into bringing down itself.
