Seems to be far too much black and white thinking going on when addressing this subject, IMHO. Let me ask this, there is the Big Bang and there is the Bible which states that God said Let There Be Light, doesn't anyone else here see that these two items are not mutually exclusive. Science is based on proving theories using facts, Religion is based on faith, one can have a strong faith in God and still believe that Science is just a method that helps us explain the workings of the universe we live in. As someone that does believe in God I have never felt my personal beliefs to be threatened by science.
